In 1986, I was approached to design a promotional calendar for Seattle area printer Printing Control. Each month a new designer took a shot at this popular series. Nine years later, I had the opportunity to design three more calendars for the Winter 1995-1996 season. The 1986 calendar was a traditional film-based graphics production, the 1995-1996 calendars, by contrast, were designed and built on computer.
