This documentary on director Ernst Lubitsch focuses on his film work in Germany before emigrating to Hollywood in the early 1920s.

This documentary by Robert Fischer is presented in anamorphic widescreen for 16:9 television monitors in a 1.85:1 slightly letterboxed format that is framed to the top of the screen. On standard monitors, the letterboxing is more pronounced to fix within a smaller rectangle.
