This first DVD edition of John Ford’s World War I epic has been mastered from the best-surviving 35mm materials.

The film is accompanied by a new orchestral music score composed and conducted by Christopher Caliendo. There is no audio option to listen to the original 1928 Movietone soundtrack. Among the supplementary materials are galleries of the original theater program, production stills and advertising materials.

The disc is only available in the Ford at Fox Collection: John Ford’s Silent Epics boxset.
