This quality edition from Kino features both films that constitute the Die Nibelungen cycle, Siegfried (1924) and Kriemhild’s Revenge (1924), in restored versions with newly-translated English language intertitles. The source print was assembled by F.W. Murnau-Stiftung from materials held by the Munich Film Museum, Gosfilmofond film archive, the British National Film Archive, and the Austrian Film Archives.

This disc, with its improved image quality and restored length, should be the best edition of Die Nibelungen available on home video.
