This mammoth Swedish feature film was directed by Mauritz Stiller, and stars Lars Hansen and features Greta Garbo in a major supporting role.
While the film is thought to no longer exist in its two-part 1924 premiere form, the film was reconstructed from existing prints in 1975 to nearly 90 percent of its original length.
