Our first look at this David Shepard-produced edition of The Strong Man reveals that is has been mastered from an excellent 35mm print and transferred at a natural speed. The print is nearly free of dust and speckling, and features a broad range of graytones. It is one of the best-looking prints used in the mastering of a silent film DVD we have seen.

The film is accompanied by a music score performed on synthesizers by Eric Beheim.
