Alco Film Corporation productions, formed in 1914, were distributed in early 1915 by The Universal Film Manufacturing Company, Incorporated. Distribution of some productions were suspended in November 1914, as Alco encountered financial difficulties. Richard Rowland joined Metro Pictures Corporation when Metro acquired Alco assets in early 1915.
