Thanhouser Company was sold to Charles J. Hite in April 1912. The company was incorporated in July 1912 by owners Charles J. Hite, Crawford Livingston and Wilbert Schallenberger. Thanhouser Company became Thanhouser Film Corporation late in 1913.
