Edison Manufacturing Company production. / Cinematography by William Heise. / No copyright registration. / The production was shot before 20 May 1891 in the Edison Laboratory Photographic Building in West Orange, New Jersey, on an experimental horizontal-feed camera with a round aperture and 3/4 inch (19mm) wide film with a single edge row of sprocket perforations. The film was shot before 20 May 1891 since the film was presented (in an experimental viewing box) at a convention of the Federation of Women’s Clubs on that date.

Synopsis: A view of Dickson bowing, smiling, waving his hands, and taking off his hat.

Survival Status: A fragmentary print exists in the Library of Congress film archive [35mm preservation positive, 35mm reference positive (FEB 9908)].
