Thanhouser Company production. / From a stage play adaptation by Thomas Russell Sullivan of the novella The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Robert Louis Stevenson. / No copyright registration. Released 16 January 1912. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.37:1 format. / The novella was previously filmed as Den skaebnesvangre Opfindelse (1910). The novella was subsequently filmed as Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1913).
