Use of tight close-ups, cutback editing, and panning for reaction shots. The production was shot on-location and in studio in California. A remake of The Lonedale Operator (1911).

Drama.

Synopsis: A young woman, working as a telegraph operator in a railroad station, tries to foil two bandits’ attempt to rob the station and take her captive.

Survival Status: Print exists in the Library of Congress film archive (paper print collection) [35mm paper positive, with fragments and the ending missing].
