Film d’Art production. / Scenario by Louis Mercanton, from the play Jeanne Doré by Tristan Bernard. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.37:1 format. / Bernhardt played her scenes sitting in a chair because of her leg amputation performed on 22 February 1915. A stand-in was utilized when Bernhardt’s character would move about the settings. The film was purchased for USA distribution by William F. Connor and was distributed by Bluebird Photoplays, Incorporated (The Universal Film Manufacturing Company, Incorporated) in the USA.
