Reviews: [Moving Picture World, 26 February 1910, page 298] A picture based upon a development of extravagant humor which can scarcely be described in print. But perhaps it is sufficient to say that some mischief-loving children, bent upon vengeance, succeeded in making a spinster very ridiculous in the eyes of an elder of the church and he breaks off the engagement. It is all extravagantly funny and causes more than one laugh even though there is a species of broad suggestion which may be resented by some, or, at least, deplored. . . . Better look at the picture and make your own decision.
