Franklin Film Manufacturing Company production. / Scenario by Joseph Adelman, from a screen story by Joseph Adelman. Assistant director, Alexander De Anquinos. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.33:1 format. / Working title: The Wild Rose. The production was shot at the studios of the Liberty Motion Picture Company in Germantown, Pennsylvania. Completed late in 1915, the film was (at least temporarily) banned in Pennsylvania by state censors, and it is unknown whether the film was actually released. [?] The reference in Tarbox-Lost p. 242 may indicate the film had at least limited distribution. [?] Website-AFI notes that a five-reel film submitted for review by distributor Markason to the Community Motion Picture Bureau entitled The Wolf and the Girl, appears to have the same plot as Virtue and may be the same film.

Drama.
