Talking and singing sequences recorded in June 1929, with dialogue written by Charles Logue, were for a part-talkie rerelease at 5881 feet on 5 September 1929, including talking sequences, synchronized music and sound effects. The film was also released in the USA in a sound-on-disc (possibly Vitaphone) version. Limbacher-Feature p. 274 lists the release year as 1928 in error. / Silent film.
