Cosmopolitan Pictures Corporation production; distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Corporation. / Scenario by Frances Marion and Lillie Hayward, from the play Zander the Great by [?] Edward Fields (according to Eames-MGM p. 20) or Salisbury Field (according to Davies-Times p. ?)? / Released 2 May 1925. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.37:1 format. / According to Davies-Times p. 43, Chaplin (dressed as Davies) did the stunt work in the lion’s cage.
