This pictorial biography of Rudolph Valentino is light on biography but liberally illustrated more than 400 chronologically organized photographs of Valentino in his personal life, productions stills from Valentino films and more. Not usually offered in a book of this type, in some cases one can inspect multiple shots from photo shoots. One can easily lose hours perusing the fascinating high-quality photographs in this book, many of them from the author’s personal collection.

Donna L. Hill lives in San Francisco, is a lifelong Valentino fan, and publishes the Falcon Lair website.
