Agnes Ayres

Born 4 April 1898 in Carbondale, Illinois, USA, as Agnes Eyre Henkle.
Died 25 December 1940 in Los Angeles, California, USA, of a cerebral hemorrhage.

Agnes Ayres began film work in 1915 at Essanay Film Manufacturing Company. She is best-remembered for starring with Rudolph Valentino in The Sheik (1921).
