Brother of actor Daniel Borzage; brother of assistant director Lew Borzage.

Married Rena Rogers; divorced, 1941.

Frank Borzage began film work as an actor in 1912; he directed his first film in 1913. Borzage worked as actor for American Film Company circa 1916.
