William Hughes Curran
(same as W. Hughes Curran and William Curran)

Born 1893 in Bronx, New York, USA.
Died January 1940 in California, USA.

William Hughes Curran attended Fordham University, and began his performing career in vaudeville. By 1917, he had come to Culver City, California, and worked as an employee of the New York Motion Picture Company. Curran worked in films chiefly as a director in the 1920s, but also had additional credits as an actor and writer.

He passed away in January 1940, and is buried in what is now known as the Hollywood Forever cemetery.
