This DVD collection has been mastered from a combination of 35mm and 16mm reduction prints, three of them in rerelease versions of the films. The quality is generally good to very-good, but the 16mm prints have the usual image quality concerns.

Check out these pages for our evaluations of the individual films: The Great Train Robbery, The Battle at Elderbush Gulch, The Heart of Texas Ryan and Tumbleweeds.
