Westminster Theatre was a live theatre venue. Eventually, the venue exhibited motion pictures. This theater is not to be confused with the Empire Theatre that closed in 1915.

The Empire Theatre temporarily closed in 1937 for renovations. The theater was renamed the Bijou Theatre at some time in its history, but is not to be confused with the Bijou Theatre that closed in the 1920s. The building was demolished in the 1950s.
