The Weinhard Theatre was originally built as an opera house. The theater did exhibit motion pictures before the theater burnt out in 1916. The building space still exists and was an abandoned furniture store in 2000. A photograph of the Weinhard Theatre is on display at The Weinhard Hotel in Dayton.
