This collection of films directed by Katja Raganelli includes documentary-dramas on two women filmmakers: Alice Guy Blaché and Margery Wilson. The edition includes seven films by Guy Blaché produced from 1906 in France through 1913 in the USA.

The silent films are accompanied by music scores compiled and performed by Richard Siedhoff and Günter A. Buchwald.

Supplemental material includes seven Alice Guy Blaché short films produced in France and the USA (1906-1913); and a 20-page insert booklet with writings by Katja Raganelli.

The collected silent films are recommended home video editions. North American collectors will need a region-free PAL DVD player capable of outputting an NTSC-compatible signal to view this edition.
