Cosmopolitan Productions was the production unit for Hearst’s International Film Service Company, Incorporated. Cosmopolitan productions were distributed through Select Pictures Corporation (circa 1919), Famous Players-Lasky Corporation (circa 1919 through circa 1920), Paramount Pictures Corporation (circa 1921 through circa 1923), Goldwyn Distributing Corporation (circa 1923), and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Distributing Corporation (circa 1926 through circa 1929). The company was later reorganized into Cosmopolitan Pictures Corporation.
