Kalem Film Manufacturing Company production; distributed by Kalem Film Manufacturing Company. / From the novel Ben-Hur; a Tale of the Christ by General Lew Wallace. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.37:1 format. / The Wallace estate sued Kalem in U.S. superior court and in 1911 won an award of $25,000 for copyright infringement. The novel was subsequently filmed as Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ (1925).

Drama: Action-Religious.
