Animation by Winsor McCay. / Premiered February 1914 as part of McCay’s vaudeville act. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.33:1 format. / Animated film intended for exhibition with live actor on stage (originally McCay himself). The prologue section with cartoonists was shot at Riesenweber’s Restaurant in New York, New York.

Comedy: Cartoon.

Survival status: Prints exist in the Library of Congress film archive (American Film Institute / Paul Killiam collection) [35mm positive (850 feet)]; and in La Cinémathèque Québécoise film archive [comprised of remaining 35mm positive and 16mm reduction positive elements].
