MacNamara Feature Film Company production. / Produced by Walter MacNamara. Scenario by P.J. Bourke. / Premiered 22 September 1914 at the 44th Street Theatre in New York, New York. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.33:1 format. / Exteriors shot in Ireland and in England, with interiors shot at Ec-Ko Studios in KewBridge. The film was rereleased in the USA by the Gaelic Amusement Company, with added additional footage of Eamon DeValera, in 1920.

Drama: Historical.

Survival status: Prints exist in the Library of Congress film archive (national film collection) [incomplete 1920 rerelease version (reels 2-4, 2939 feet)]; in the Museum of Modern Art film archive; and in the Irish Film Archive of the Irish Film Institute film archive.
