Mezhrabpom-fil’m production. / Scenario by Aleksandr Rzheshevsky, from an idea by Mikhail Koltsov. Art direction by Sergei Kozlovsky. Cinematography by Georgi Bobrov and Grigory Kabalov. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.33:1 format. / Pudovkin planned this to be a sound film but produced it as a silent due to the inadequacies of primitive Russian sound equipment. The film was released in the USA by Amkino Corporation on 12 February 1933. / Silent film.
