Ratings (1-10): video: 5 / audio: 4 / additional content: 5 / overall: 5.

This edition has been mastered from a fair to good 16mm reduction print of an American rerelease version. The source print for the windowboxed video transfer is quite dark, with unfathomable shadows.

The film is accompanied by a music score performed on theater pipe organ.

This edition can be tough going, but is currently the only known home video edition of Children of the House on DVD.

This Region 0 NTSC DVD-R edition is available directly from GRAPEVINE VIDEO.
