Tell ’em Nothing
(1926)

 

This Charley Chase comedy short also features Vivien Oakland and Gertrude Astor. Charley is a divorce lawyer who attracts many would-be divorcees but soon must convince his own wife not to divorce him.

This DVD edition has been mastered from a passable analog video transfer of a 16mm Kodak Cinegraph reduction print.

The film is accompanied by a vintage jazzy soundtrack lifted from another film print.

To our knowledge, Tell ’em Nothing is not available elsewhere in a higher-quality home video edition. Not recommended but whaddya gonna do? This is the only home video edition available . . . and it’s out-of-print.
