Dickson [2887Z]. / Kinetoscope 35mm spherical 1.33:1 format. / The production was shot circa 2-7 January 1894 in the Edison Black Maria studio in West Orange, New Jersey. Bohn-Light p. 9 mistakenly claims that this film was shot in 1889 by Dickson.


Synopsis: Well-known one-shot motion subject of Edison employee Fred Ott, handkerchief in hand, sneezing.

Survival status: Print exists in the Library of Congress film archive (American Film Institute / Gordon Hendricks collection; and paper print collection) [35mm preservation positive, 35mm viewing positive (FEC 8091), 35mm paper positive (LC 26A)].
