Released 14 April 1912. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.33:1 format. / The film was edited to five reels for its April 1912 release, indicating that the film may have been in lecture circuit circulation before then. The film was reedited with intertitles inserted and rereleased at six reels in November 1913.

Documentary.

Synopsis: Early expedition film of Rainey’s first filmed African excursion.
