Help Identify These Unknown Films 3

We were contacted by a Hungarian reader, Márton Kurutz, to help identify a small number of unidentified film prints held by, we believe, the Hungarian National Film Archive. Nearly 100 frame enlargements have been posted online to assist identification of these American and European films, one of which is a Harold Lloyd Lonesome Luke film, with Bebe Daniels, Snub Pollard and Bud Jamison. Also identified is Priscilla Dean in a fragmentary print of an unidentified feature.

If you can identify these films, please contact the Silent Era editor.

UPDATES: Silent Era reader Hidekazu Tozaki of Japan identified the frames entitled “Madame in Nöten” as being from the French comedy Madame a de envies (1908). And, through the efforts of Mary Cade, the Danish Film Institute has identified frames in the “Fragments” section as being from the Nordisk film Oldtid og Nutid (1915).
