White and Jacob Blair Smith. / © 1 September 1904 by Thomas A. Edison. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.37:1 format. / Sets are dimensional and built in perspective. Camera is moved to effect rough seas on ship. The production was shot in Edison’s 21st Street studio in New York, New York, and on New York City locations. The production includes footage from Edison’s S.S. Coptic Running Against the Storm (1898), Pilot Leaving “Prinzessin Victoria Luise” at Sandy Hook (1902), and Skyscrapers of New York from the North River (1903). Includes main title card and intertitles.

Comedy.

Synopsis: A man is sent on a “rest” cruise to many European countries and encounters many nerve-wracking challenges.

Survival Status: Prints exist in the Library of Congress film archive (paper print collection) [35mm paper positive], and in the Museum of Modern Art film archive.
