[?] Blake-Films p. 1 and Website-IMDb list the release date as 16 August 1913, which may have been delayed from an announced release date of 9 August 1913. A fragment of the film featuring Chaney and Fazenda was recovered in May 2006 in England, and restored by Lobster Films, Paris, and the Haghefilm Laboratory of Amsterdam.
